The beginning of the year is a great time to start over, to start fresh, or to just renew a commitment or goal. When it comes to health, one of the things I consistently struggle with is drinking enough water. While I don’t make resolutions anymore, I do have a few commitments that I’ve made to myself to achieve over the course of 2016.
One of the big ones is to drink more water. Plain and simple, drinking more water is good for the body but I still don’t drink enough of it. Some people like the taste of plain old water—and I do in the summer when I need it to not dehydrate—but not enough to drink my eight glasses a day. So, I’ve search and tried tons of different flavored waters and never found anything that is good enough to sit down the Diet Coke and pick up water.
That is until I tried Cascade Ice Naturally Flavored Sparkling Water last November at the BlogHer Food Conference. What’s great about it is that it is a zero-calorie, sugar-free flavored sparkling water with none of the unhealthy extras added to it like sugar, sodium, carbs, caffeine, etc. Plus the fizz is great to combat the soda fizz cravings!
It comes in 20 flavors and so far every flavor I’ve tried, I’ve absolutely loved. My favorites include Strawberry Lemonade, Coconut Pineapple, and Blackberry Lemonade. So. Dang. Good. You can easily add some fruit to these to change up the flavors.
